In addition, it greens grass in 72 hours, promotes thick growth, and contains time-release nitrogen for extended feeding. Apply Vigoro Weed & FeedI when weeds are actively growing and daytime temperatures are consistently between 60°F and 90°F. Make sure your grass is wet from dew or sprinkling before applying, as this helps particles adhere to weed leaves to produce the best results. Use a spreader to apply this product. For Vigoro broadcast/rotary spreaders, use a setting of 3; use a setting of 4 for Vigoro Spread Control. For Scotts broadcast/rotary spreaders, use a setting of 3 ½. For Scotts drop spreaders, use a setting of 7 ½. Wait at least 24 hours after application before you water or mow the lawn; granules must remain on weed leaves for 24 hours to be effective.
